Charles Beringer was
the Co-Founder and Chief Financial Officer of Broadbay Networks, a construction
service company focusing on the telecom industry located in San Francisco, CA,
prior to joining The JIAN Group. Mr.
Beringer's management and financial expertise was critical in enabling the
company to grow from inception to one of the "100 Largest Private Companies in
the Bay Area" with over 400 employees. His tenure at Broadbay culminated with
the sale (and integration) of the company to Harvey Nash, a publicly traded
British plc. Before joining Broadbay
Networks, Mr. Beringer held various positions within the global accounting and
consulting firm, KPMG LLP. He managed
and supervised a number of Fortune 1000 corporate audits, while specializing in
transaction consulting and valuation services for healthcare and manufacturing
companies. His experience as a Certified Public Accountant and
expertise in corporate finance allowed him to counsel his clients during all
phases of a transaction, including the
initial valuation, due diligence process, closing, and subsequent
integration.
Since joining The JIAN
Group as a Partner in 2002, Mr. Beringer has advised clients in over fifty transactions
across a broad array of industries including manufacturing, distribution, and
construction services.
Mr.
Beringer holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Richmond's
E. Claiborne Robins School of Business with a concentration in accounting. He lives in Northern
Virginia with his wife and two daughters.
