Mr. Turner co-founded The JIAN Group in 1993 as a
national investment banking firm focusing on middle-market mergers and
acquisitions in the building material industry. Since the firms' founding
in 1993, Mr. Turner has led The JIAN Group to become the largest and most
influential mergers and acquisitions boutique in the building material
industry. With over 30 years of transactional experience, Mr. Turner has
completed numerous assignments involving mergers and acquisitions through
creative structuring of transactions and utilizing keen negotiating skills.
Prior to co-founding The JIAN Group, Mr. Turner was with
McDonough Company, a NYSE conglomerate controlled by Mr. Bernard McDonough and
also worked directly for MARMAC, Mr. McDonough's personal holding company as
president of various building material companies and also responsible for
analyzing and negotiating several acquisitions in the forestry and building
material industry.
Mr. Turner holds a degree in Finance and Accounting from
Marshall
University and is a
Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Turner lives in Fredericksburg, Virginia with his wife.
